return of the mack

there’s a rumor floating around that both sir nicholas stoycheff, and karen jaske, esquire, will be returning to columbus late on wednesday. it doesn’t matter whether or not I started this rumor…let’s not point fingers. I’m here to tell you that those rumors are false. so very, very false. the real nick stoycheff is too busy saving the lives of drunks and dodging falling helicopters.

however, in a clever plot twist, nick and karen apparently have evil twins, and they will both be here simultaneously in order to cause reckless mayhem…ripping the tags off of mattresses, unscrewing the tops of salt shakers, giving babies caffeine, leaving the toilet seat up, etc.

so don’t say I didn’t warn you.

columbus clippers, ring your bells

was at dime-a-dog night last night, and…what’s this? there’s a baseball game going on? actually, harmon was telling me how the ‘coop used to be the place to go in the ’80s. but sadly, times have changed (though the hot dogs probably haven’t). attendance was roughly 600 people by elizabeth’s count, and that was being generous.

there were, however, an amazing amount of mullets on display; including the ever-elusive femmemullet, raising the mpc (that’s mullets-per-capita) to astronomical levels. needless to say, steve was impressed.

also, they never played the ‘columbus clippers’ song, with the cowbell-ringing and crap. what’s up with that? is there a shortage of cowbell metal due to the war effort?
