other than last year’s game – and the year before that – I can’t think of a super bowl I couldn’t care less about. then again, the last good super bowl I can think of (last year doesn’t count, only the 4th quarter was anywhere near decent), was the rams/titans 1-foot near-miss… and that was 5 years ago.
the worst part is, whenever new england is involved (playoffs or otherwise), the game moves like john madden coated with molasses. the patriots play an annoying defensive game not unlike the buckeyes: defense is the focus, special teams solid, and offense nearly nonexistent. sure, new england is good at shutting teams down when they have to, and the analysts always rave about them, but watching them slowly grind the game away is exhausting, and nowhere near entertaining.
add to that the fact that bill belichick is coaching the patriots, and you know I’ll be rooting for the eagles.
that’s if I’m even watching.

I am so glad New England beat the Steelers! I hate the Steelers! I think the Superbowl will be interesting match up and not boring at all. Tom Brady is hot! And I do enjoy watching New England. I like Philly too. So as long as there is no “nipple gate” it should all be good, imo.

Luckly I won’t be watching the Super Bowl because I will be filling my liver with alcohol on Burbon Street, and you should too.
That’s where I will get my fair share of “nipplegate”
