my webhost is supposedly in the process of migrating this site to a different server. according to them, there will be no downtime, but if the past is any indication, I wouldn’t bet on it. so if anything disastrous happens in the next few days, try not to panic. I do suggest that you stock up on the following items in case of an emergency:

no one gave them a chance. not espn, and especially not the opposing team. but in the end, the lions squeaked out a win over the buckeyes, 17-10. it was a hell of a game, with both defenses dominating play as expected.

leaving columbus to start school in state college, there was talk in the halls of a penn state/ohio state rivalry. but I could only laugh. sure, they could think they had something going, but in the buckeye universe, there is only one true rival, and they play every november.
besides, the lions haven’t even proven themselves yet.

sure, rehnquist may not have served as a judge prior to his nomination to the supreme court, but who knows what we’re getting into with this miers character? especially since this nomination comes so soon after michael brown was publicly ostracized for his lack of experience and being a bush “insider”.
not to mention she looks a lot like palpatine from star wars:
