today should be ron lewis appreciation day in ohio. there would be no elite 8, no sweet 16 for the buckeyes without this guy. all the attention is on the young talent, and they do deserve a lot of credit. but it’s the old, grizzled veteran who’s pulling them through.

I’ve been listening to mika’s new album for the past few weeks now, but I’m still hesitant to recommend it to anyone. while the songs are catchy, they’re also an acquired taste for anyone used to the generic music filling the airwaves. best I can describe it is a cross between queen and the scissor sisters, with some barry gibb thrown in for good measure. what can I say? the guy loves him some falsetto.
no, seriously. there’s a LOT.

ah, what clever timing! just when you thought that the news couldn’t get any worse for gee-dub & pals – his attorney general under fire, ol’ scooter being found guilty, and those silly democrats trying to pull out of iraq post-haste… something like this just happens to come to light, and make us all feel better for beating those wacky terr-or-ists, right?
