Is he good for acedemics at OSU? The board of directors doesn't care about that. Kirwan was a place holder. Holbrook helped get OSU back into the big leagues by fostering research. I know most people are pissed at her about the alcohol policy, but I think any university president would have had to make that call at that time. Plus, she was really only dealing with the fallout generated by the fallout from Gee's University Partners program.
